Happy Easter!

Praise to the good Lord above! I love Easter and everything that it means. I wish everyone a blessed day and I hope you all remember the wonderful reason why we celebrate this holiday...

Well, good news is I didn't have to work today even though it was actually my weekend to work... Bad news is that Matt did have to work. Yep, that means I am alone on Easter. This is the time where I really, really get homesick. I would give anything to be celebrating this holiday with my loving family. Sad. I will be honest, I shed a few tears today. I will be alright though, I have my loving kitties to play with :) It is always amazing how animals seem to know when a person is down... They are so loving towards me today. Love them.

Even though I am alone on Easter, I hope my family have a wonderful holiday together. I just hope they know how much I miss them all. On a happier note, the Easter bunny did come to my house thanks to my amazing cousin, AMY! She sent Matt and I the greatest gift box of goodies! LOVE HER!!!! So basically I am sitting here in our apartment and eating too much candy... lol.

Update- Matt and I are now in our new two bedroom apartment. We are loving the extra space! Now we have an extra bedroom for when visitors come and visit- hint, hint.... We are still unpacking everything so our apartment is a disaster zone. Hopefully that will be fixed soon!
